Differences between iPad 2 and iPad 2 Plus

High resolution display:
Regardless of the name attached to the rumored next-generation device, a shift to a higher-resolution display approaching "Retina" resolutions in the range of 250-300 ppi would of course be a substantial improvement even on its own. While the iPad 2's screen features a resolution of 132 pixels per inch, the new iPad 2 Plus would boost the display to a more impressive 250-300 pixels per inch, giving a sharper, clearer image.

Final Cut & Aperture:
iPad 2 Plus will be somewhat a "pro" device targeted at video and photo production enthusiasts as Apple will also release iPad-specific versions of Final Cut and Aperture.

Price:
iPad 2 prices ranges from $499 to $899. The new iPad 2 Plus price may be a little bit higher than original iPad 2, that's because iPad 2 Plus has the much higher resolution. This kind of new iPad model positions in the high-end market. So for those who are engaged in the video and image processing work, iPad 2 Plus is a very good choice. But for common people who don't need do video or image processing, the original iPad 2 is not bad.

In a word, there are not so may changes on iPad 2 Plus compared with original iPad 2.
